nice piece

i really like this work, and you can have the satisfaction of knowing that you lowered my self esteem with how good this looks. "did this after a short day of work" i wish i could say that... lol

there is one thing i noticed though. she seems to be missing her right hand. also im not sure if its because of the chest plate playing tricks on my eyes, but her head seems to be a little bit off centered compared to her body.

sorry, i really really like this piece and those things just stuck out to me is all. i hate criticizing work of someone who is waaaay beyond me.

Hey thanks! The 10 means a lot. :) I know exactly what you are saying about the head though. As for the hand, I should of stated that it's in a fist inside that buster gun looking weapon. She has a latch that she squeezes inside and it fires out a laser beam generated by the 2 red conductors on the top of the glove. ;)

definitely like this!

it kinda has that afro samurai feel (the manga) like im expecting next frame to have some sort of bloodshed on it. it just has that dark samurai feel about it to me at least. but good work on getting the emotion across! thats what does it the eyes not the face, faces are boring eyes are what make it interesting lol

[Persona 3]

reminds me of kingdom hearts/resonance of fate

ive yet to play persona 3, i only came into the series at persona 4 and really love that game at least. but i am looking into going back and playing the old ones. this picture has definitely upped the chances of me actually playing persona 3... among the other 30 some odd games that i gotta beat... sigh.... thus is the life of a busy college student... too busy for anything but work...

anyways great piece i dont have anything to add to it. but one question, whats the medium of which you did this piece with, i wanna say it was art rage, but it looks like it was hand done and then brought in. but im gonna stick with it was done digitally right?

first glance fei long!

sorry when i first looked at the thumbnail i thought this was a pic of fei long... and then i was like wait... it could be bruce lee, sure enough it was good ole bruce or fei long.... definitely like what you did with this piece. :D

Its both. If you ever want to draw a good picture of Fei Long, you have no choice but to look up Bruce Lee.

HEY!!! no background can be a good background!!!!

if there is one thing i would take from the troll that you should prolly take care of or get like troll repellent or something, its the lighting effect. (i wouldnt put it like he said it cuz that was a douche thing to say) but the spotlight effect would look a lot cooler for something like this, leaving your background black on top of the spotlight would leave a very interesting effect. it would also bring attention to your characters a lot more (not that im not lookin at em lol)

i like your coloring but careful with that burn tool dood, it looks sweet on the cloth, but the bass drum doesnt look as blended as well. for a situation like that id use like the blur tool to soften the edges of the burn (try it see if it looks a lil more blended, but thats photoshop trying things to see how they look lol)

also try doing some drawings of real life too, its boring but can be fun sometimes, like see if you can get one of your friends to be a model for you and do some figure drawings. its always good practice to draw from real life, and it also helps you learn as you continue drawing cartoons. Human anatomy does that too so pay attention in anatomy class! lol yea you're willing to stick with it and have a drive for it, and for portfolio purposes its good to start doing figure drawings anyways! later days!

light source?

it looks like you got one coming in from the left, and the right. (kyo and scoot have shadows on the left side of their face, blackbelt and swiffer have shadows on their right side) is there two light sources? or did you mean to only have one? idk what you were trying to do so i cant exactly give my input on that matter.

i like the eerie style of the picture though.

also Scoot's arms are too long for his torso. Overall good work, and i like the setting! :D

kay as far as what's his face said about head proportion ignore (which im sure you already did) because of the fact that the character has shaggy/longer hair it doesnt make his head look disproportional at all, his hair is just fallen back... duh right? guy looks fine, so does the girl for the most part. the one thing i would do, is bring her jaw forward a bit, or make her neck smaller. that way when she looks down it wont look like she doesnt have a chin lol.

I like the drawing looks cool, and an interesting idea, good work!
